A few weeks ago my sister and I went to a ((Bounce)) workshop - that's 5 hours of bouncing on a trampoline haha are we mad? Yeah pretty much.
My sister and I, have been going to ((Bounce)) for three years now - the exercise class is on mini trampolines and it is a mix of cardio and toning. Honestly, we have never stuck at any exercise class for this length of time, and was probably the most exercise I had done since P.E. when I first started... but three years later here we are. I think I can safely say I actually love exercise now, and the way it makes you feel is definitely the number one reason I keep up my regime.
The Bounce workshop consists of 5 hours of bounce - it is a mix of a standard bounce session, body balance which is a yoga based session which incorporates toning and stretching, bootcamp which is a more intense version of bounce and then beats which is using weighted drumsticks sticks to tone your body, stretch and focus on toning arms.
The day itself is intense but super fun, with hairstyling and glitter on arrival, and a yummy lunch and snacks to boost energy levels!
The next ((Bounce)) days are in May and we've already booked on!

Three Days in Norfolk
I feel like the slowest writer lol... writing about something that happened at the end of 2018/ into 2019 when its the 1st February *facepalm but anyways I have finally got round to writing about my mini-break!
At the start of the year, I went away to Norfolk with my boyfriend, I used to go to Norfolk on family holidays when I was younger, and I wanted to see what it was like now and visit the beaches!
We went on the Sunday before the New Year, and then came back on New Years Day, and although it was short and sweet it still felt like a nice break. I looked at quite a few options for mini breaks in England and they were either hella expensive or places just didn't look very nice, but I found The Norfolk Country Yard on Bookings.com and really liked the pics and reviews of the place. The location itself is very rural and really quant - giving you all the countryside feels. When I think of B&B's I often don't really have high hopes but when I saw this one, it was a the game changer of my B&B expectations, as the rooms were more like log cabins, and looked SO nice!!! Our room had a king size bed and then a wetroom/shower room attached which was perfect for two people.
The room was honestly the cutest! 😍 The décor and bedding was so nice and really lived up to the photos on Booking.com as I wanted a place that would give me some good insta pics 😂 . The B&B rooms were situated opposite the main house and at the end of the row of rooms, was an upstairs breakfast room. There was a great selection of food for breakfast, so yum with different cereals, homemade bread, and pancakes etc. So you could choose to be healthy or unhealthy haha!!
On our first full day we went to Wells-Next-to-the-Sea, which was only 30 minutes away from Foulsham, as the B&B owner told us about a lovely walk you could do that took you along the see front, and then back through the forest. Despite it being chilly it was such a lovely walk to do, and would be so nice in the summer time!
For dinner in the evenings, we went to cute village pubs about 15 minute drives from the B&B in the surrounding villages, which were really lovely and again giving you all the countryside vibes which I loved. Our room had a big brochure with lots of recommendations of what to do and where to eat, so that was really helpful too.
Overall, it was a lovely mini-break and definitely somewhere I would like to revisit in the warmer months.

Christmas 2018
Although Christmas feel like a distant memory when in reality it was only a few weeks ago I thought I would share my pressies (better late, than never hey). It only seems like yesterday I was excited to have a week off work and go away to Norfolk and just seems to have gone by in a blink of an eye... and here we are in 2019!
Stocking
Stockings are one of my fave things at Christmas because I feel like you always get a selection of great goodies and this year didn't disappoint.
1.Lacura make-up - this is a brand that is sold in Aldi and I'd actually never even heard of it before. I got the bronzer which looks just like Benefit Hula Bronzer (at least in packaging form) and so much so, that when I first opened it I thought Benefit had changed their packaging lol 🙈. I also got from the Lacura range, a bronze and shimmer compact - which is such a dupe of Charlotte Tilburry packaging! And, I got a face primer, which actually has a nice consistency, and doesn't smell like plastic like most silicone based ones. I have only just started using the make-up but will review them properly later in the month.
2. Unicorn selfie light eeeeekkkk! It's such a small thing but probs one of my fave Christmas presents haha! Just a game changer for selfies need I say much more.
3. Real Technique brush - I literally have a million of these but always need a new one obvs.
4. Jewellery box, anyone that knows me knows I'm always wearing a piece of jewellery, so jewellery boxes and storage are always very useful.
5. Garnier Ultimate Blends cream - this used to be my all time favourite moisturisers that I somehow just forgot about and never repurchased haha! I'm loving using this cream again, it smells so nice and has a really thick consistency so feels really moisturising which is especially needed for winter months.
Gifts
One of my main presents I received was a BeWater water bottle - these are bottles that have crystals in a stem, inside the bottle. Although, the crystals don't actually come in contact with the water, it is meant to bring good energy, and that is what 2019 is all about, right? I got the one that has rose quartz in the centre so all the love should be coming my way! I think these bottle are just so aesthetically pleasing and good energy is always welcome. Also, I received the book Notes on a Nervous Planet by Matt Haig, I asked for this book because I had heard good things about it, and it has been my train read for the last week. This book is such a good read but is quite repetitive, it has short sections about a variety of things but the book itself is centred around social media and the consumer society we live in today, and it's definitely a book that really gets you thinking!
Clothing wise, I got a new ((Bounce)) top because basically I'm obsessed with ((Bounce)) the exercise class, and I got a sweatshirt with DOG MOM on it because basically I am a dog mum, and cant wait to do an Instagram of me wearing it with my Ella 😍. PJ's were another item of clothing I got and lets face it, it isn't Christmas without new PJ's, my ones are by Hey Peachy which is sold on ASOS and are a long sleeve top and shorts cos I always get warm at night.
Also, I got metal straws because well I actually prefer to drink my drinks out of straws but obvs. plastic straws are bad for the planet and, paper ones just go soggy so... metal it is 💁
From my best friend I got a bottle of Bucks Fizz which is my fave Christmas drink and, has already been drunk so I couldn't take a photo of that, a cute mug with my initial on it. And... my absolute fave thing a Budha. Budhas are my vibe as I'm into positivity and good energy, and you can't buy one for yourself because it is unlucky so a Budha is always a good pressie 😂
Happy 2019!!!!

New Year's Resolutions
Although, many people find the 'new year, new me' mantra super cheesy and cliché, personally I think that the start of a new year is a great way to refresh, take a step back, and just revaluate where I am in life and what I want to achieve in the upcoming year, plus, it is a great way to see what you've achieved when you look back and, a lot can change in 365 days.
For me, 2018 was the year I graduated university with a 1st Class Honours and I think that this has to be my highlight of the year because I never expected to achieve such a good grade, and getting that result made me feel that hard work does pay off, and that you can achieve anything as long as you stick to it, which is super cheesy but true AF. Also, I went on holiday to Ibiza for the first time, with my bestie and it is a place I had always wanted to go to, it was a post uni celebration, and lets just say it was an adventure!
Looking onto 2019, there are a couple of places I would love to visit, one being Amsterdam, and the other being Greece, specifically Santorini as the Instagram pics would be insane 😍
Thinking of actual resolutions, I definitely want to keep up my regular exercise regime of ((Bounce)) classes, because it is an exercise class that I love, and I feel that I get so much out of each session. My sister and I, have been going for three years and it is the only exercise regime we have ever actually stuck to, so it must be good!
With this goal, I want to increase my water intake as I am super bad at this, and be stricter with my diet (haha, we can all pray this happens).
I also want to make blogging a regular thing, by actually writing this down it will happen - right?! 😂 and from January I am going to upload on a regular basis and actually sit and plan out content, whether that be about lifestyle, places I've been or fashion. Fashion, is an area I definitely want to explore, so stay tuned for the OOTD's.
This leads onto my next resolution, being productive - I feel that now I don't have the commitment of university life, I can be more productive with my time hence why blogging is something I want to dedicate lots more time to. Before, uni deadlines took priority but I feel that writing is something I love doing, and blogging is the perfect platform for this . Also, a little bit of a random one, but I feel that being positive goes hand in hand with being productive, so I want to practice more positivity, channel all those law of attraction vibes and, be proactive in order to tackle goals in 2019.
Here's to an amazing new year!!!!!

The Swan Lavenham - Mini Spa Vacay!
As a post-graduation treat, I recently stayed at The Swan in Lavenham Essex - it is a beautiful hotel, that has an adjoining spa that guests can use. My sister and I, had a one night just a couple of days post graduation and, made use of the spa facilities which was amazing! and always treated ourselves afternoon tea the afternoon we arrived.
Let me just start my saying, the spa itself is STUNNING! It has a really neutral colour scheme which makes it seem so modern yet, homely. The relaxation room was amazing, as it had such comfy sofas and, a beautiful crystal (my obsession) on a table in the middle of the room. On arrival, we were shown to the changing area, to put our stuff away and change into our robes and slippers which always feels like such a treat, and really gets you in the spa mood!
Also, our hotel room was situated right next to the spa so it was perfect to just pop along to for our treatments, and the fairy lights at night looked so pretty in the outdoor space of the spa. Treatments wise, I had the Drift Away package which was £48 - pricey but worth it, especially as a treat! The Drift Away package focuses on the back, shoulders and lower body to relieve tension, and it was nice to have after months of tension from uni deadlines and, from my previous retail job.
The hotel room itself was so cute and had that cottage-feel to it with all the beams, which I really liked, also the bathroom was small but, perfect for two people. In the room there was also a dressing table and two little cupboard rooms to hang up clothes - super cute! ❤️️
Our other main treat of the stay was afternoon tea - Afternoon Tea is one of my fave things, and it always feels like such a special thing and the cakes and sandwiches are always yummy! This one didn't disappoint, and the selections of sandwiches and cakes were lovely - I would really recommend.
Roundup - We had a great time being in the countryside in a lovely hotel and, it was a great break even though it was only a one night stay! I feel sometimes that's all you need to reenergise and it definitely did, making me feel ready to start my new job the following week!

Outfits of Ibiza
I holidayed in Ibiza last month and wanted to share my favourite outfit looks from the trip!
One of my favourite accessories from the trip has to be my Missguided check print bum bag, I used this every day on the trip, and it felt so safe and secure, plus it is a great size to fit your purse, phone, and any other essential in it. Also, you can't go to Ibiza without a bum bag, everyone is rocking one, so this item definitely made me feel as though I fit right in.
One of my favourite dresses at the moment is one from Pretty Little Thing, it is a Bardot white ruffle dress, with pom poms on it. It was one of my favourite pieces to wear in the evening because it was so easy to just throw on, but still made you look put together which is always a plus. The fabric is really light and breathable so with the hot evenings it was perfect too! I style this dress with my go-to bumbag from Missguided. Link: https://www.prettylittlething.com/white-orange-pom-pom-bardot-shift-dress.html
On a holiday I always take items I know will instantly make me look put together, when really getting ready and putting on lots of make-up is not something you don't always want to be spending hours doing. So in order to look put together, I take items that will do the job for me, because I don't want to spend time thinking of outfits to put together. I loved this culotte jumpsuit from Primark, which was only £13, such a bargain for a simple piece of clothing, that gives a holiday vibe.
This is another fave piece for me, this tie-dye playsuit is sooo comfortable, and fit right into the Ibiza vibe. I styled this look with my trusty sandals from ASOS, and my oversized glasses from Primark. It ties in at the waste to give you that cinched in definition, and it is a must have piece of any summer wardrobe!
I have linked everything I'm wearing on my 21Buttons account, my username is emmp23 if you want to check it out!

The go to cleanser
Emma Hardie Amazing Face Starter Kit.
For a really long time I have heard such good things about Emma Hardie products, but I didn’t really know what ones to try and as they are not cheap I was reluctant to purchase something if it wasn’t going to remove my make-up and leave my skin feeling smooth and fresh.

I did a bit of research and knew that I wanted to try one of the cleansing products and found that you could purchase a starter kit which is actually called the Amazing Face Starter Kit, it comes with a small make-up bag and includes the Moringa Cleansing Balm, a Dual Action Cleansing cloth which is a flannel on one side and a hot cloth cleanser on the other and the Age Support cream all for £21.00 on Feelunique.com.
I thought that it would be better to purchase the starter kit, as it contains a 50ml pot of the Moringa Cleansing Balm not the normal 100ml which retails at £36.00. I didn’t know whether the product would suit me or cause me to break out so I thought I would start with the smaller pot.
I started using the Cleansing Balm on Saturday night and I a
lready feel like my skin is more softer and it thoroughly removes your make-up. The product is effectively a balm which you simply rub onto damp skin using your finger tips and then remove using the Emma Hardie Dual Action cloth once you have run the cloth under warm water. Although I did avoid my forehead as I feel that this section of my face is prone to breakouts and I don’t really like using a balm on that part of my face as they tend to be too oily and sit on the skin, for my forehead I usually use the Garnier Micellar Water as it isn’t too harsh on my skin and isn’t at all oily. As for the Age Support Cream I have yet to try it, but will mainly be using it on dry patches and to keep my skin hydrated during the winter months.

So far I only have good things to say about the Balm as it left my skin feeling really refreshed and smooth with only a couple of uses so I cant wait to see what it does for my skin in the long term.
As for the smell of the product it has quite a similar smell to Elizabeth Arden products but I wouldn’t say it is as strong, and I didn’t find that you could smell it after using the product which I thought was good as sometimes strong smelling creams or products can keep me awake if I have used them before going to bed.
